Back to school day will be Jan 3rd.

Star Day Care opens year-round and is not affected by the school break.

Daily Program
The
following is a sample of the daily activities the children
are subject while in the Child Care facilities:
A.M.
P.M.
06:30 - 09:00
Children arrive and are greeted by the teacher.
Each child is given a health check. As the child becomes comfortable,
the teacher assists him or her to become involved
in one of the small groups or individual activities
available.
07:45 - 08:00
Breakfast is served to those children scheduled
to receive it.
08:45 - 09:00
Children prepare for the activities of the day.
09:00 - 12:00
An organized educational program with learning centers and free
play is planned. Children are encouraged to participate
in arts and crafts, music and rhythms, singing
and role playing, listening and verbalizing, and
large and small muscle development activities.
They are exposed to colors, shapes, sizes, number
concepts, and the alphabet and its sounds. making
decisions for individual activities as well as
learning to share are part of a continuous learning
experience. Children are able to enjoy a variety
of outdoor activities.
10:00 - 10:15
A nutritional snack is served.
11:45 - 12:00
Children prepare for lunch. They toilet, wash and take turns assisting
the staff in preparing the room and tables for
lunch.
12:00 - 12:30
A nutritional lunch is served family style.
12:30 - 01:00
Children share in quiet activities such as looking at books and
listening to music. The room is prepared for rest
for full day children.
01:00 - 03:00
Nap time.
03:00 - 03:30
Children awake, toilet and wash, and take a nutritional snack.
03:30 - 04:30
Children play outdoors - weather permitting.
04:30 - 06:00
Stories, singing, crafts, and role playing are some of the activities
in which children participate while waiting for
their parents.
